Lionel Messi has now overtaken Chelsea and French midfielder N’Golo Kante in the chances to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or with 9/4 chances to win the award, as per Oddschecker.
On the other hand, Belgium’s Kevin De Bruyne is just behind Leo (11/2) following his Euro 2020 advance, while N’Golo Kante completes the top 3 with 6/1.
Surprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo is not in the top 5 despite still being the top goalscorer at Euro 2020. The Portuguese is 6th (6/1), giving way to Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappe (both 6/1) whose odds are increasing.
