9 Players Chelsea Are Set To Clear Out To Make Room For New Signings Named
Chelsea may have won the Champions League this season, but Thomas Tuchel has just begun working on building a competitive squad for next season.
With that in mind, the Blues are prepared to clear out as many as 9 players this summer to make room for new signings, according to Daily Mail.
However, the question now is, who’s leaving and who will stay?
9 Players To Be Shipped Out By Chelsea This Summer
The list below includes 3 Champions League winners with Chelsea this season;
1. Fikayo Tomori
The English defender did well at AC Milan on loan and is likely to complete a £24m permanent move to the Rossoneri this summer. So he makes this list.
2. Olivier Giroud
The French veteran is on his way out after his solid 3 years with the club. Giroud would proudly walk away with a Champions League winners medal.
3. Tammy Abraham
Chelsea would look to sell Tammy Abraham to raise funds for a more proven striker, and names like Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, or Romelu Lukaku are being mentioned.
4. Ross Barkley
The German gaffer doesn’t rate Barkley and he will be willing to let the English midfielder go.

5. Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Blues will also try to raise some cash through a potential Loftus-Cheek sale. The midfielder has been inconsistent since his loan move to Fulham last summer.
6. Conor Gallagher
The youngster performed well at West Brom last season but still won’t be considered next season as a regular at Chelsea.
7. Davide Zappacosta
With one year left on the Italian’s contract, Blues will most-likely sell him to an Italian side before it expires next summer.
8. Emerson
The Italian is another player the Blues are willing to cash in on, as there is too much cover for his position. Plus he won’t be happy to continue seeing limited minutes come his way next season.
9. Tiemoue Bakayoko
Many of us would be surprised he’s still a Chelsea player. Yes, Bakayoko still has one year left on his contract and the club would not hesitate to sell him this summer.
If you’re quizzed, which of the aforementioned players should Blues definitely keep or sell?
