AC Milan Lead The Race To Sign Tammy Abraham This Summer

Serie A giants AC Milan has emerged as the frontrunners to sign Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.

Before now West Ham and AC Milan were shoulder-to-shoulder in the race to sign Tammy Abraham from Chelsea. However, West Ham manager David Moyes came out to label the striker too expensive while stating the Irons will look for a more affordable option.

But AC Milan is still interested in signing the English striker despite his £40m asking price. This means the Italian club is now the forerunners in the race to sign Abraham. Although Aston Villa’s interests have also been mooted.

Hence, if Abraham should join the Milan side, he’d be reunited with fellow Chelsea Academy graduate Fikayo Tomori.

On the other hand, Abraham has only started one Premier League game in 2021. However, the 23-year-old is yet to start a league game under Tuchel.
