Man United are no longer expected to sign Antony in the summer transfer window anymore, claims Manchester Evening News.
That is because they have been priced out of a move by Ajax, who are demanding an overwhelming fee to let him go.
The Dutch side will reportedly only sell the Brazilian winger for a fee of over £70m.
The Red Devils already paid a major fee to sign Lisandro Martinez and are unwilling to do so for Antony.
United have already agreed a €85m fee with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong, which can be completed once the player agrees personal terms.
The Red Devils are still expected to sign a forward in the summer, but will not pursue a move for the Brazilian winger anymore.
