Haaland To Sign, Kounde In, Giroud Out & All The Latest Chelsea Transfer Round-Up
It has become something of a worry for the Blues fans as Chelsea are yet to sign any player this summer. However, with the Euro 2020 tournament ending this Sunday, we can expect the London giants to make a few moves.
As a result, here is our latest Chelsea transfer round-up so far in this summer business;
Erling Haaland
According to almost every reliable source, Erling Haaland is the man Chelsea want this summer as they look to bolster their strike force.
And as per 90min, the Blues – aided by transfer chief Marina Granovskaia – are preparing a £150million bid for the striker!
However, the source isn’t very reliable in this case. The situation here is clear though – only a monstrous bid will see Dortmund sell their talisman.
Declan Rice
According to Matt Law of the Telegraph, Declan Rice had rejected a new contact from West Ham and is waiting for Chelsea or Man United to ‘firm up their interest’.
Fabrizio Romano adds recently on this saga: “Chelsea have a strong interest in Declan Rice, strong interest. They like the player, Thomas Tuchel likes the player, so we will see if they can find an agreement. If they will open an official negotiation with West Ham again after last summer.”
West Ham won’t let Rice go for cheap, though.

Joules Kounde
The Blues have made an ‘important approach’ to sign Sevilla defender Joules Kounde this summer, according to Spanish outlet AS.
However, the center-back has an €80m release clause and it will take a big bid to test Sevilla’s resolve to keep him.
Jiri Pavlenka
Just a few days after Chelsea were heavily linked with him, the goalkeeper looks like he is staying at his current club Werder Bremen.
His agent Pavel Pillar told NovaSport: “Jiří Pavlenka has a valid contract in Bremen, where he is currently preparing for the next season. As for speculation about the possible interest of Chelsea, no specific offer has arrived…
“After the season, we declared that we would deal with the situation. The most probable variant, however, is that Pavlenka will sign a new contract in Bremen and thus continue in Germany.”
Olivier Giroud
It’s only a matter of time before Giroud’s move to Milan is finalized and the Frenchman will bid farewell to Chelsea after a successful stint with Blues.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A club will pay Chelsea €2M for Giroud’s services.
