Alexander-Arnold made the observation after Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah ensured that Liverpool were 2-0 up after just 26 minutes but Chelsea came back level through Mateo Kovacic and Christian Pulisic.

Neither Chelsea nor Liverpool were able to find the net in the second half despite creating a number of chances with both goalkeepers, Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher and Mendy denying the attackers on several occasions.

“…We had the better chances in the second half,” he told Liverpool’s official website.

“But when you are up against a world-class team with a world-class goalkeeper he makes world-class saves. So, like I said, I think a point apiece is fair.”
