Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hasn’t had the best start to life as the club’s manager but it seems that confidence is one area where the Spaniard doesn’t lack!
Discussing the Chelsea game in his press conference, Arteta told the media (via Arsenal FC): “I don’t know if he [Romelu Lukaku] is going to play.
“I have a plan to try to stop what Chelsea do and the plan on what we have to do to win the game.
“I respect what they’ve done in the last few years,” he added. They are a top team full of world-class players, with a great manager and the Champions of Europe. We expect a competitive match.”
Of course, what Arteta’s supposed plan is, we have no clue – and looking at his track record as the Gunners’ boss, we’re not sure if he himself is aware of the plan either.
Chelsea are set to travel to the Emirates on Sunday for the derby and Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Romelu Lukaku should play a part in the game. Let’s hope we get the win!
