Billy Gilmour has returned to Chelsea, it has been confirmed by Norwich manager Dean Smith.
The Scotland international suffered an ankle injury and is at Cobham for assessment and treatment.
The midfielder will return to the Canaries after he completes his recovery. It will take three or four weeks for him to get back to fitness.
Chelsea are no longer able to recall the 20-year-old this season as he has passed the threshold of games played for Norwich, Smith added.
Billy has made 12 league appearances for the Canaries, recording an assist.
