The Boss Provides Injury Update On Raphael Varane Ahead Of Manchester Derby On Saturday
Speaking to BT Sport after the 2–2 draw with Atalanta in the Champions League, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Raphael Varane felt his hamstring.
“You can’t take any risks. He has been such a calming influence for us and then we’ve lost him, but that’s football.”
The 28-year-old center-back limped off the pitch in the first half on Tuesday, forcing Solskjaer to switch to the 4-2-3-1 formation since Victor Lindelof was out injured as well.

It remains to be seen whether both Manchester United center-backs will recover in time for Saturday’s visit of Manchester City in the Premier League.
