Monday was a rollercoaster day for Manchester United with not one, but two Champions League Round of 16 draws taking place.
The initial draw, which paired the Red Devils with Paris Saint-Germain, was declared void by UEFA after a blunder involving Man United and Atletico Madrid.
And as the redraw later in the day ironically pinned Ralf Rangnick’s side against 2020-21 La Liga champions Atletico, Bruno Fernandes took to social media to mock the chaos.
The Portuguese midfielder wrote on Twitter, quoting Man United’s official announcement of their Round of 16 opponent — for the second time that day: “What time is the 3rd round of the draw?”
Meanwhile, Ralf Rangnick’s men will travel to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on February 23 while the second leg at Old Trafford will take place on March 15. Both games kick off at 8 pm GMT.
