Bruno Fernandes Names One Thing Preventing Him From Winning The Ballon d’Or
Bruno Fernandes has named one thing that is preventing him from winning the Ballon d’Or but his teammate has it.
The Portuguese would love to have Marcus Rashford’s pace, insisting the striker’s runs are unbelievable.
Speaking to MUTV, Bruno Fernandes said: “I think I’m not the slowest player in the world but if I would have the pace of Marcus Rashford, honestly, I would be a Ballon d’Or [winner] already.
“With the pace he has, oh my God, he’s unbelievable. It’s incredible the way he [Rashford] is and, when I talk about pace, it’s about running with the ball and without the ball.
“The quality he has, the moves he has, and the agility he has to come away from difficult situations. It’s unbelievable.”
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes has been a constant name in our weekly top-10 Ballon d’Or rankings this season, being the only United player to make the cut.
However, it’s clear that any Old Trafford player will not be able to compete for the prestigious honor unless the Red Devils start challenging for the Premier League and the Champions League titles again.
