Burnley’s boss has finally reacted to his alleged touchline spat with Thomas in the game during the weekend.
“I don’t remember any flashpoints,” Burnley boss Sean Dyche said of his altercation with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel in the first half of the recent game between two sides.
“I don’t know what qualifies as a flashpoint anymore, it was usual stuff from both sides trying to win a football game.
“I have no clue where this line of questions is coming from. I didn’t hear anything, feel anything.
“It was just too managers trying to win a football match. I’m not hard at all, just a normal bloke trying to win a football match.”
The managers from both sides were quite animated in the first half after Ross Barkley’s foul Charlie Taylor. They started shouting at each other as Dyche wanted Barkley to be punished for high boot.
