Chelsea Academy graduates who play for the first-team in Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, and Reece James have all taken to social media to bid farewell to Fikayo Tomori whose permanent transfer to AC Milan has been confirmed on Thursday.
“From the ground up, we grew together, we grinded together, even when they doubted us and the Lord God guided us,” Abraham posted on Instagram.
“We’ve come so far! And this is just the start [praying hands emoji]. Good luck in this new challenge.
“Going to miss you brother @fikayotomori go rip it up! Love you bro [love heart emoji].”
Mason Mount then chipped in with his message: “Gutted to see you leave brother… but looking forward to see what you achieve in your new challenge [love heart emoji].”
Meanwhile, as a man of few words, Reece James was the most concise of them all as he wrote: “Good luck brother [love heart emoji]. Gonna miss you.”
The four Chelsea academy graduates broke through to the first team together when Frank Lampard gave them a chance in his first season in charge.
Goodlucks, Fikayo Tomori On your new adventure!
