DONE DEAL! – Chelsea Completes Loan Transfer For A Talented Youngster

With Chelsea all but confirmed the loan transfer of Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez, the club has thus, agreed to a loan deal of their talented youngster in Ethan Ampadu.

Ethan Ampadu has signed a new three-year contract with Chelsea before joining Italian side Venezia on loan for the 2021-22 season, the club confirmed.

It is the third loan spell of the 20-year-old’s career, who will now hope to get some playing time in the Serie A.

Ampadu joined Chelsea from Exeter City in 2017 and has made 12 appearances for the senior team so far.

Meanwhile, an agreement has been reached for Saul Niquez for a fee in the region of €5m in loan. The personal terms have already been agreed and the midfielder will be in London soon to sign the deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the final details of the deal will be announced a little later. The deal was ‘difficult’ but is set to be completed soon.
