‘In Frank We Trust’ – Chelsea Fans Support Their Underfire Manager

Chelsea fans have reacted to rumors over the future of their manager Frank Lampard by carrying a banner in support of their manager. The Chelsea faithful sent their board a clear and loud message stating in their banner – “In Frank we trust.”

Prior to today’s 4-0 FA Cup win over Morecambe, Chelsea had lost four of their last six games, including a thumping 3-1 home defeat to Manchester City last time out. The situation has put The Blues down in ninth-place in the Premier League table. As a result, Frank Lampard’s job has been left in jeopardy.

According to The Athletic, the Chelsea board are considering their manager’s future. Even the Chelsea boss Lampard had admitted himself that his legacy as a player wouldn’t be enough to save him from getting the sack this season.

However, the Chelsea fans are thinking otherwise and have stepped out to show their support for Frank Lampard. The Chelsea faithful supporters have created a banner with the message ‘In Frank we trust’ ahead of the FA Cup third-round clash with Morecambe which ended in victory for the Pensioners.

The banner reported raised £1,000 in funds but wasn’t made in time to be displayed for the game against Morecambe in FA Cup at Stamford Bridge.
