Chelsea Finally Beat Liverpool To First January Signing But It’s Not a Full-Back

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Watford center-back Travis Akomeah, reliable Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Blues have beaten Liverpool and Bournemouth for the 16-year-old.

Chelsea’s Academy has a fantastic recent record of developing good center-backs (Christensen, Chalobah, Tomori, Ake) so Akomeah is definitely in good hands.
