It has been reported by Nizaar Kinsella that Chelsea have made contact with the respective clubs and agents for Erling Haaland and Hakimi Achraf.
The West London club is willing to match the price PSG are reportedly ready to pay Inter for Hakimi which is understood to be in the region of £56.1 million.
On the other hand, Erling Haaland’s transfer will be more complicated and expensive, especially with Mino Raiola being his agent.
Moreover, it’s left to be seen whether Blues will make the move now when there’s less competition, or wait until the price drops in 2022 when a variable release clause based on performances is expected to see the youngster leave for a price nearer £70 million ($99m).
But in all, those deals are likely to take time and it makes much sense that Chelsea are in fact, reaching out early.
