Chelsea Make Final Decision On Signing New Left-Back This January With 2 Options Considered
Chelsea are willing to sign a left-back in January but they are reluctant to do so on a permanent basis, The Telegraph’s Matt Law has reported.
The Blues are concerned that in this case, they would be left with five left-backs in the summer, including Emerson and Ian Maatsen who are out on loan, as well as a recovering Ben Chilwell.
Emerson’s recall is Chelsea’s priority right now, but Lyon have little desire to part ways with him.

Barcelona are willing to let Dest go. The US international can play on the left and on the right, something that would be handy while Reece James is injured too.
