Chelsea Makes First Sale Of The Summer – But It’s Not Tomori

Chelsea have made their first sale of the summer and it’s a midfield wonder kid Pierre Ekwah who departs the club to West Ham, Sky Sports reports.

Ekwah’s move to the London Stadium will be confirmed on Wednesday, as per the source.

Pierre Ekwah, 19, joined Chelsea from Nantes for £1.8 million back in 2019. However, his transfer fee was undisclosed by the Blues.

Interestingly, the Frenchman, who can play anywhere in midfield, scored for West Ham during his trials against Arsenal in May.

Hopefully, Chelsea won’t get to rue selling the midfielder like they did Declan Rice, who is now a giant with the Hammers.

The Blues may still see some players leave this summer with Fikayo Tomori nearing a permanent move to AC Milan.
