All 5 Chelsea Players Who Have Featured In Euros Team Of The Tournament Revealed

Chelsea’s Jorginho has been named in the official Team of Euro 2020 following his key role in helping Italy claim the title this summer.

The Blues midfielder has become the fifth Chelsea player to be selected in such a team and the first person since Euro 2008.

Previously in 2000, the official Euros Team of the Tournament featured one Chelsea star in Marcel Desailly, who also lifted the main trophy with France.

Then four years later, legends Frank Lampard and Petr Cech made the Team of the Tournament for EURO 2004, while in 2008, it was Michael Ballack who featured after a stellar performance for the tournament’s runners-up, Germany.

Meanwhile, among the 5 Chelsea players who have been named in Euros Team of the Tournament, only Jorginho (Euro 2020) and Marcel Desailly (Euro 2000) won the European Championship.

Petr Cech, Frank Lampard, and Michael Ballack all failed to lift the title with their respective countries.
