Chelsea Star Man Set For Massive Pay Rise As Club Plan Contract Extension

As per the very reliable Nizaar Kinsella of Goal.com, Chelsea are planning to offer Mason Mount a new contract soon.

The midfielder is set for a ‘massive pay rise’ with the Blues reportedly expected to at least double his salary.

The 22-year-old is currently one of the lowest-earning first-team players, making around £75,000 per week.

Mount’s current contract expires in 2024. Chelsea have not yet made ‘a formal contract offer’ as they are waiting to sort out the contracts of Antonio Rudiger and a few other players first.

However, the Blues are very solid on the player and see the England international as a major part of their future.

On the other hand, the Blues are still struggling to work out Antonio Rudiger’s contract extension so far, with the defender refusing to settle for what the club have on the table for him.
