Chelsea Stars Who Have Been Called Up For Euros By Their National Team

After the domestic leagues in Europe came to an end last weekend, next on the radar is the Euro Championship. As a result, players have been called up by their respective national sides, including a host of our Chelsea stars.

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has been named in Spain’s squad for Euro 2020, with his consistent and solid performances for Chelsea being recognized.

Cesar’s call-up is his first by Spain since late 2018. He notably shone against Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, the top two Spanish teams in La Liga this season, and was one of 24 players picked by Luis Enrique.

The Blues skipper was in Spain’s squad for the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, as well as Euro 2016 in France. He will have a chance to add to his 25 caps for Spain.

On the other hand, Toni Rudiger, Timo Werner, and Kai Havertz have all been selected in Joachim Low’s final squad for Euro 2020.

The above four stars follow call-ups for N’Golo Kante, Olivier Giroud, and Kurt Zouma [France], Mateo Kovacic [Croatia], Billy Gilmour [Scotland], and Michy Batshuayi [Belgium].
