England’s historic 2-0 win against Germany came despite the best efforts of Kai Havertz who was excellent throughout the game.
However, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, and Antonio Rudiger all bowed out of the competition thanks to the 2-0 loss in the Round of 16 to England.
Though they weren’t involved in the game, Mason Mount, Reece James, and maybe Ben Chilwell will all have the opportunity to impress in the remaining 3 possible games.
England will now face Sweden who won 2-1 against Ukraine with Chelsea’s German contingent going off on holiday ahead of pre-season next month.
Out of 16 players that represented Chelsea in Euros championship, only 7 have made it to the last 8. The remaining players include Jorginho and Emerson (Italy), Cesar Azpilicueta (Spain), Andreas Christensen (Denmark), and Mount, Chilwell, and James (England).
