Thomas Tuchel has been speaking to the press about Chelsea’s poor form of late after a shocking defeat to Everton at Goodison Park over the weekend.

“It’s always important to react in the next game but, honestly, I don’t like that we have to react,” Thomas said post-match.

“I would like us to be a lot more consistent and at the moment, we struggle to play without mistakes in our game.

“We are struggling to keep clean sheets and from this we struggle to get the results that we want and demand.”

“The last four matches have been absolutely disappointing and that is something we have to improve on.”

Speaking about Everton’s late winner he shared: “The goal was decisive. The score was 1-0. It’s not about the timing, they would have played deeper for 80 minutes if it was scored in the 10th minute or done it for one minute if they scored it in the last minute.

“If you have matches like this, like against West Ham, you cannot do mistakes like this. You will always have the chance to get the three points with one goal. Once you give it away, you have everything against you.”
