Interestingly, Trevoh Chalobah has been excellent across the back 3 for Chelsea in pre-season and with Thiago Silva likely to take some time to get back to peak fitness, the youngster could fill in for Tuchel’s side.

On the other hand, Kurt Zouma and Marcos Alonso are both linked with exits but have both been solid when called upon and would be good options to start at least the first game or 2.

N’Golo Kante was Chelsea’s best player against Tottenham and is a shoo-in, as is his midfield partner in Mateo Kovacic.

Finally, in attack, Kai Havertz looks all about ready to explode as a superstar and Hakim Ziyech has been nothing short of incredible as well!
