Chelsea’s Latest Transfer Possibility For This January Window Finally Ranked

The transfer window will be closing in a few days and the Blues have been linked with a lot of names. Thus, we rank the probability of these transfers happening in January.

0/10: Emerson to come back from loan. Lyon have blocked all attempts from Chelsea to bring the left-back home, so this deal is impossible right now.

0/10: Eden Hazard to join Chelsea. Carlo Ancelotti ruled out a move this January, so nothing is happening on this front.

0/10: Niklas Sule to join Chelsea. This deal is impossible in January but there’s a good chance of it happening in the summer when Sule becomes a free agent.

0/10: Antonio Rudiger to leave Chelsea. There is a better chance of John Terry coming out of retirement than Rudiger being allowed to leave this month.

0/10: Cesar Azpilcueta to leave Chelsea. The captain hasn’t extended his deal yet and Barcelona are interested. However, his future will be decided in the summer, he’s not leaving in January.

0/10: Romelu Lukaku to leave Chelsea. The striker hasn’t done himself any favors with his interview where he complained about his situation here. Despite that, Lukaku definitely isn’t leaving in the next few days.

How Chelsea Defense Could Line-Up Next Season If Antonio Rudiger & Co Should Leave

1/10: Marcos Alonso to leave Chelsea. Diego Simeone is a big fan but yet again, a deal seems more likely in the summer than right now. A very small chance Alonso is allowed to leave – only if Chelsea sign another left-back before the window ends.

1/10: Jules Kounde to join Chelsea. A summer transfer is on the cards but a transfer in the next four days is unlikely unless Chelsea decide to make a huge bid.

3/10: Ousmane Dembele to join Chelsea. The winger will most likely leave Barcelona as he’s not extending his deal there. Chelsea are one of the favorites as per semi-reliable sources – we can’t rule this one out.

4/10: Borna Sosa to join Chelsea. Sky Germany reported Chelsea’s interest and there’s a small chance of the defender coming to Stamford Bridge. Tuchel really wants a left-back so this is one to keep an eye out for.

5/10: Armando Broja to leave Chelsea. The striker will see out his loan deal this season and a club-record bid from the Saints might tempt Chelsea to sell Broja unless Tuchel has him in his first-team plans for next season.

7/10: Ross Barkley to leave Chelsea. Barkley’s Chelsea career is going nowhere and Newcastle are interested in him – it’s very possible he’s allowed to leave within the next few days, even if it’s a loan deal with an option to buy.
