Sources have confirmed that the Borussia Dortmund superstar is the main target for Chelsea and Roman Abramovich himself this summer.
But since Dortmund confirmed reaching an agreement with Man United for Sancho for around £73m, they probably don’t feel the pressure to sell their other star too, which is why they might only agree to a record-breaking deal. Although that doesn’t sound like Roman Abramovich can’t afford to make the deal happen.
Declan Rice
According to the reliable Matt Law, Declan Rice has rejected 2 new contract offers at West Ham as he is waiting for Chelsea or Manchester United to ‘firm up their interest’.
Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly a fan of the player. However, no official bid has been sent in yet for Rice, and any transfer will not be cheap either.
Saul Niguez
Top journalist in Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Blues have already made an enquiry about Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez as an alternative to Declan Rice this summer.
On the other hand, the Times claims that the La Liga side values their player at around £60m.

As per German sources, Petr Cech is driving Chelsea’s interest in Werder Bremen goalkeeper and his compatriot Jiri Pavlenka.
