Solskjaer Explains Controversial Ronaldo and Bruno Substitutions In Disappointing Loss

Speaking to the media after the disappointing Young Boys defeat, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “The game had gone 70-odd minutes, they had been running a lot both Saturday.

“And today [on Tuesday], the astroturf takes it toll as well. We wanted Nemanja’s experience on the pitch to keep hold of the ball and Jesse’s legs.

“Missed opportunity tonight, of course, but then again last year we won our first two games against PSG and Leipzig and everyone thought we were through.”
