Philippe Coutinho was included in Barcelona’s matchday squad that will be facing Getafe on Sunday after making a come-back from a long-term injury. Speaking on his period on the sideline, the Brazilian said;
“I never imagined myself playing football anymore. Those who saw me on crutches and with a paralyzed foot know it,” Philippe Coutinho has said in his latest documentary.
“Thank goodness, now I imagine myself playing, creating chances, and scoring goals. Doing what has always been my passion: playing football,” the Brazilian added.
The 29-year-old suffered from a rupture of the outer meniscus. The attacking midfielder had to undergo surgery that resulted in spending 8 months on the sidelines.
The star Brazilian is now expected to become one of the key players for Ronald Koeman’s Barcelona side. He could even get the iconic no. 10 this season already.
