Manchester United have kick-started their pre-season training campaign, but the majority of their first-team players are yet to join up.
The good news, however, is that all Man United’s first-team stars are expected back in training before the start of the Premier League season on August 14, where United will be playing Leeds United.
Prior to this, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be expecting his first-team players in patches over the next few weeks. The Norwegian has already confirmed that Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek, both still struggling with injury niggles, will return on July 26.
Moreover, those involved in the Euro 2020 and Copa America this summer have been given 3 weeks off after their campaigns were done.
In that regard, all the prominent players are yet to rejoin training with United and will start doing so soon.
Here is a look at the time frame of when different first-team players are expected back in training;
July 20 – Victor Lindelof, Dan James, Diogo Dalot
July 26 – Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek, Edinson Cavani
July 31 – Fred
August 1 – Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Jadon Sancho (if deal fully finalized), Marcus Rashford (if he opts against shoulder surgery).
