Brentford Goalkeeper David Raya Sends Message To De Gea After Replacing Him In Span Squad

In an interview with Cadena SER, Brentford goalkeeper David Raya opened up the on criticism faced by Luis Enrique for choosing him over David De Gea for the Spain squad.

“It’s understandable,” explained the 26-year-old. “I’ve played most of my career in the Championship, a league that is hardly known in Spain.

“It’s understandable that there are people who don’t know who I am or have questions about me.

“People are going to have an opinion, that’s for sure. There will be people who understand it and others who don’t.”
