It’s clear that Jose Mourinho is world-famous for taking shots at his fellow managers with many labeling him as the master of trash talk.
Now it seems that this trash talk extends to even national team managers that Jose hasn’t even faced in his career.
Recently, the former Chelsea boss said that if France don’t win the Euros, they will have ‘failed.’
However, French manager Didier Deschamps was asked about this comment and his response was rather quick (via TF1): “I thought the same thing about his Tottenham team, but it did not end up happening like that…”
Meanwhile, Mourinho’s time at Spurs ended poorly as the manager was fired near the end of last season, unable to win a title with the Premier League club.
Deschamps, of course, led France to the World Cup title back in 2018 and will not want to be a ‘specialist in failure’ during this Euros for sure!
