It is nothing new that Chelsea really want to bring Erling Haaland to Stamford Bridge particularly this summer.
The Blues have been linked with a move for the world-class striker for ages now – however, Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc doesn’t want to sell his talisman this summer.
The Dortmund sporting director said of the striker’s future (via Bild): “Nothing has changed. We are still planning with Erling for the new season.”
Meanwhile, it has been reported earlier by Fabrizio Romano that after selling Jadon Sancho, Dortmund are in a comfortable position financially and have no need to sell the Norwegian this summer.
On the contrary, 90min reported earlier this week that the London giants are willing to make a big move bid for the Dortmund striker, which would put the Bundesliga side in the position to let one of their highly prized assets to leave this summer.
Now with the latest turn of events, it looks like Chelsea’s pursuit of Erling Haaland will be a massive uphill climb.
