The Blues’ interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland has been the story of the transfer window so far.
However, as per the reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, nothing has changed in the Blues’ pursuit of the player as his club Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell their striker this summer – that is the ‘real issue’ with this transfer.
Romano further adds that Erling Haaland has no agreement on personal terms with any club as of now.
And despite the rumors, there has also been no bid received by Borussia Dortmund from Chelsea – not even about discussing players that could be included in the deal.
As of now, it would seem that the only way to sign Erling Haaland this summer would be to pay an absurd amount of money, possibly over £150M.
With the look of things, however, it seems Chelsea won’t be signing the Norwegian this summer. In fact, not just Chelsea, Erling Haaland is possibly not going anywhere at least for this summer.
