“Eden Hazard has already made his career. It’s okay where he is, his family feels good there. He has a contract until 2024 and I think he will wait until then,” Kylian Hazard, the brother of the Real Madrid winger, has told Diario AS.
“Maybe Eden is playing a little less now and the team is working without him. But everyone knows how good it is. He has to prove that he is a good substitute.”
Eden is indeed playing less at the moment. This term so far, he’s featured for only for 877 minutes across 22 games for Real Madrid, contributing with a goal and two assists.
Even if Hazard is okay with his current role, it appears that the club will try to sell him next summer, at least that’s what the reports have been claiming. Apparently, a return to Chelsea is one of the options.
