Edinson Cavani’s response to Jadon Sancho No. 7 Shirt request Finally Revealed
The Athletic reports that Edinson Cavani was not happy about giving up the iconic No.7 shirt to Jadon Sancho.
The report suggests that Sancho was promised the famous number by Manchester United when talks initially began about a transfer.
Borussia Dortmund refused to let him leave last summer amid a standoff with the Red Devils over his £100 million price tag. As a result, United signed Cavani at the time.

The club gave the No.7 shirt to the 34-year-old but he was asked to give it up to Sancho once talks resumed with the German side.
The English winger eventually arrived in the summer of 2021 and was given the No.25 shirt instead.
However, Cavani finally agreed to take on the No.21 shirt after Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club.
