Barcelona’s New Signing Emerson Breaks Silence On Facing ‘King Messi’ In His Career

During his official presentation at Barcelona, Emerson Royal was asked what it is like to face Leo Messi on the pitch.

“Playing against Messi is impossible. He is the best in the world and has a knack for doing things if you’re not careful. Every time I faced him, I lost,” the Brazilian said.

“I was sad about the Copa America loss, but happy for Messi because he deserved it.”
