Emerson Royal Reveals Dani Alves Message To Him Before Barcelona Move
During Emerson Royal’s presentation at Camp Nou, Barca president Joan Laporta mentioned two other Brazilian players that made history at Barcelona — Dani Alves and Juliano Belletti.
“They are players who made history, especially Alves, whom I have as an idol. He is the player with the most titles in the history of football. I spoke with him, he told me to come here and that things will work out naturally,” Emerson responded.

Although he has returned from vacation, the 22-year-old is yet to join Ronald Koeman‘s squad. The Brazilian has been training at the Ciutat Esportiva while those players who joined the pre-season earlier are in Germany.
The right-back signed a 3-year contract with the Catalans that will see him stay at the club until June 2024 at least. The former Real Betis full-back was also a part of the Brazil Squad that lost the Copa America final to Messi’s Argentina side last month.
