Addressing the speculation in the media over his possible appointment as the permanent Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag said in a press conference: “At the moment I am only working with Ajax and have no further thoughts on the future.
“The focus is on this season. Right now I shouldn’t be the theme.
“The theme is: how are we going to win games?”
While latest reports have claimed otherwise, it makes sense for the Ajax boss to not divulge information even if something is in the works.
Ten Hag’s record speaks for itself – he has won 150 of the 203 games he’s managed for the Dutch giants.
Ralf Rangnick, who will have a say in choosing his replacement, reportedly prefers Ten Hag over Mauricio Pochettino.
