Confirmed: Erik ten Hag Names One Ajax Player That Will Be Good For Man United Team Next Season

In his interview before leaving Ajax for Man United, Erik ten Hag was asked about the future of center-back Jurrien Timber.

Man United have already been linked with the 20-year-old, and the Dutchman’s remarks may indicate that he’d back his signing for United.

“I think that all top clubs in Europe have Timber in their sights, but I think that currently applies to a lot of Ajax players,” the coach told De Telegraaf.

This season, Timber has made 43 appearances for Ajax, playing an important role in their Eredivisie win.

His contract expires in two years, meaning that Ajax might have to either extend his deal or cash in now if they don’t want to lose the Dutch international for free.
