Jorginho’s all-around Euros display has a number of his critics eating humble pie and ex-England manager Fabio Capello is the latest to do so.
Speaking to Corriere Dello Sport, the ex-England manager said: “Jorginho, he’s Mancini’s main man.
“He was a player who didn’t convince me completely, but I was wrong.
“But in the matches, I saw him live, I watched him carefully, and he is a midfielder who knows how to stay on the field and direct the team.
“The fact that Italy didn’t concede many goals is due to his ability to intervene at the right time in the actions of the opponents.”
Moreover, Jorginho and Italy will face their biggest test yet in the quarter-finals against a good Belgium side but will be hoping to continue their brilliant run and make it to the semifinals.
