Romelu Lukaku has been struggling at Chelsea since his big-money move this summer. The striker has only four goals in 13 appearances this season and was out injured for over a month.
He had a bad game against West Ham yesterday as he could not get involved in the build-up play and cut a very isolated figure in the final third.
After the defeat, a Chelsea fan’s tweet went viral:
Antonio Conte is, of course, the manager of Spurs and he and Lukaku shared a great relationship at Inter Milan where they won the Serie A.
Harry Kane wanted to leave Spurs in the summer as he wants to play Champions League football and compete for the big titles.
Of course, such a swap deal is impossible at the moment but it does beg the question – does a striker like Kane suit Chelsea’s system more than Lukaku?
