Solskjaer Provides Fitness Update On Rashford and Bailly Ahead Of Roma Clash
In recent week, Marcus Rashford has played through a foot injury but the manager now believes that the worst part is over for the forward. Bailly, on the other hand, is available after recovering from Covid-19.
“Both of them are available,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told a press conference ahead of the Roma clash about Marcus Rashford and Eric Bailly. “That’s good.”
“Marcus, we’ve managed him, We’ve had to manage him for quite a while actually,” Ole added.
“Last year with his back, then he had his shoulder which he’s recovered really well from. I feel he’s gone through the worst of his foot as well.
“He almost played a full game against Leeds, he’s available for selection again tomorrow but I think he’s happy with the progress that he’s made.”

For quite a while now Marcus Rashford has played through a foot injury, which might be a reason why he has not been so prolific in recent games: he’s only netted 2 goals in the last 11 games.
Also, Eric Bailly needed time to recover from the coronavirus after testing positive earlier this month. As a result, he has not played football since March, and it’s not clear if he is fit enough to start on Thursday.
