Fabrizio Romano Provides Crucial Update On Frenkie de Jong To Man United In January Transfer
Man United are currently not working on a move to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong in the January transfer window, claims Fabrizio Romano.
Barca boss Xavi Hernandez reportedly doesn’t want to let De Jong go as he remains a key member of the squad.
Ralf Rangnick is reportedly keen on signing De Jong and could even send Edinson Cavani the other way to push the deal.

However, it doesn’t seem like Barca wants to sell the Dutchman midway into the season and could demand over £80m for his sale.
United, of course, have other midfielder options as well, with Rangnick reportedly making RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara his priority for the winter transfer window.
