Manchester United have kicked off their 2021-22 Premier League campaign in an emphatic fashion, securing a 5-1 convincing win against Leeds United.
The good news started just minutes before the kick-off, as Raphael Varane was confirmed Manchester United player – the timing couldn’t have been any better!
Solskjaer fielded his best possible squad available for the game with Jadon Sancho starting from the bench, before deputizing for Daniel James in the second half.

Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes were outstanding throughout the game with the duo pulling strings – the Frenchman collected 4 assists, why the Portuguese bagged a hattrick.
Goals from Mason Greenwood and Fred rounded the scoring for United in the 5-1 victory. Interestingly, fans were able to witness a glimpse of Jadon Sancho’s skills after coming off the bench.
