According to Jorge Valdano, Real Madrid should make signing Erling Haaland a bigger priority over Kylian Mbappe, arguing that the Borussia Dortmund star is the better goalscorer out of the pair.

The Dortmund and PSG forwards are two of the most exciting young footballers in the world right now, enjoying tremendous success in their short careers so far, with Kylian Mbappe already a World Cup and four-time Ligue 1 champion. “I would sign Haaland before Mbappe,” former Real Madrid forward and manager Jorge Valdano told Onda Cero.

“I understand that Mbappe is a star, but I’m very impressed with Haaland. He scores goals of all types.”
