Havertz Responds To His Price tag After Scoring the Winner In Champions League Final
Chelsea’s summer signing Kai Havertz has been mostly criticized for a slow start to life as a Blue, particularly because of his price tag. The German attacking midfielder was brought in last summer by Frank Lampard from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of around €80m.
However, many football pundits believed the youngster has not lived up to the hypes signing making a switch.
Following Saturday’s Champions League final victory over Manchester City, Havertz, who scored the only goal of the night was asked about his price tag at the final whistle.
But the German can’t think of anything but the Champions League title at the moment, as he reply was apt!
“I don’t give a fuck, we won the Champions League,” Kai replied.
