Chelsea’s Haaland pursuit is likely to be fruitless as Borussia Dortmund have no intention of selling their star striker this summer, BBC football reporter Simon Stone claims.
This is what he has tweeted: “Told no official bid from @ChelseaFC re Erling Haaland but even if they did, would be wasting their time as BVB have no interest in selling.”
On the other hand, previous reports claimed that Borussia Dortmund might consider selling the 20-year-old for £150m which would easily make the Norwegian the most expensive signing in the Premier League history.
Meanwhile, Erling Haaland has already returned to Dortmund’s camp and is starting his preparations for the next campaign where his club will once again participate in the Champions League.
Hence, if this report is to be trusted, Blues would be dealt a major blow on landing their prime summer target. However, some Chelsea supporters already suggest that the club go for two other strong options and move over the Dortmund striker.
