‘It Happens Too Often’: Tuchel Names Players Responsible For Chelsea’s Problems In The League
Individual errors are becoming too common at Chelsea over the past few games. Edouard Mendy’s howler against Real Madrid, the lack of finishing against an open Manchester United team, Andreas Christensen’s error against Arsenal – the list goes on.
Today, it was captain Cesar Azpilciueta who gifted Everton a goal as he lost possession in the final third and Richarlison was able to capitalize to score.
Asked what he can do about these mistakes, Thomas Tuchel said: “What can I do? The ball is free, then give a goal away. It happens too often, we struggle to play without big mistakes. That’s why we struggle to have results.”

He then added: “The issue is not our attack, the issue is that we don’t have the clean sheets, that’s the issue.”
Chelsea have kept only three clean sheets in their last nine games and have won only four of these matches.
The players need to do better to avoid such rookie mistakes which is costing the team a lot of points.
