Jesse Lingard Finally Breaks Silence After His Big Blunder In United’s Loss To Young Boys

Taking to Twitter to share his emotions after being partly responsible for Man United’s loss against Young Boys, Jesse Lingard tweeted: “Last night hurt. Everytime I pull on the shirt, I hope people understand what it means to me.

“I always go out wanting to do the best for the club, the team, and the fans. I’m upset for my part in the defeat. Mistakes happen in football but we pick ourselves up and go again.”

It was Jesse Lingard’s unfortunate back pass which gifted a goal to Young Boys in the dying minutes of the game, leading to a humiliating loss for the Red Devils.

However, the 28-year-old Englan international has found support from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his teammates after the error and will hope to redeem himself against West Ham United – the side he enjoyed a successful loan stint with last season.
